Plenty of these around, both funny and serious. Some I have seen are rather well produced. Not my area of collecting but I have acquired a few. Most appear too expensive for my mind, when put alongside the 'classics'. That's life. Here's some........ The former Chnacellor in Great Britain would have loved this one.....by Gerald King ! I'm out of town at the moment but I threw a couple of things on the scanner before leaving so I could make a post or two while I was gone. Here's a fantasy of some sort I came across a while ago. At least, I think it is - I've never heard of any Utah stamps otherwise. Ryan

I just noticed that the "Widow's Mite" (which is an ancient coin and not a stamp) favors Tom Brokaw. lol

As I now have a Book to go with the stamps....here are some more stamps. From Gerald King via Alice the dreamer........... A full sheet.....these are quite scarce Here's a great idea for an inflation issue.....saves a lot of time and money, but would be lost on the world's Postal Services. They don't like to save time or money !! Dream on Alice......... Here's how Wonderland would have celebrated Freedom from Hunger. A nice joint of meat ! And for the philatelic purists and flyspeckers, it's a 'cracked plate' variety together with normal !! In Wonderland, they looked after the elderly very well indeed......as this Semi-Postal will prove !! I think I'd like to live there....... More when I've done a bit more dreaming....... Londonbus1

More silly stuff from those 'Alice Dreams' ! Variety: Imperf between the knees. How many Tete-Beche pairs are there in this block ? Or, an upside-down Alice !! The Olympic Games and the Dodo, and The Centenary of the Discovery of Wonderland. Finally, for now......the International Chess Conference. Londonbus1

Here are 5 fantasy issues of Newfoundland Zeppelins. A complete farce, but since I collect both Newfoundland and Zeppelin stamps and covers, I could not resist. Theron.

It was made in anticipation of his election. it wasn't issued so pretty much bogus. I couldn't find anything about it anyway. It's from Liberia.

Here are some nice Royalty issues. Elizatoria Victoriana Plus a Royal Snark issue !! [Lewis would have been proud !] Better than the issued issues ? Maybe not but...... The Snark is actually an 'error' being a missing frame in pair with normal !!! ...and finally, for now, how about this stunning 'would have been' Inland Parcel post issue ? Beauty personified. Note that registered post in those days was 2d !! But what days were they ? Personally, I haven't got a clue. Better get to bed quick. Londonbus1....

MRS.STEWART'S BLUING. A fabric whitener using Prussian Blue, and from a 'secret' formula of a travelling salesman !! That all sounds a bit too much, doesn't it ? And named after his Mother but using his Mother-in-Law's picture on the label !!! And so it was back in the early 1880's that Mr.Stewart sold the rights to a certain Luther Ford and the business has thrived until this day. The Ford family owned the company up until the late 1970's. mrsstewart.com/the-history-of-mrs-stewarts-bluing/One family member, Allyn Ford, was a collector and APS member and in the late 30's had an idea to produce parodies of US stamps whilst giving the family business some good publicity. The result were some of the most popular and sought after Cinderellas of the 1940's. The first series poked fun of the 50th Anniversary of Statehood issue in 1939. [Scott#858]. In 1940, Mr.Ford had the idea of celebrating the '4 Queens', including of course, Mrs.Stewart !! The sheet was in celebration of the Penny Black Centenary. I show below the blue version. A black version [of course] also exists but I do not yet own a copy. Others followed....more to come.

More from the mixed-up printers at Phantasmagoria!
Mr.King certainly liked his colors ! I recently picked up a large lot for little money which was quite surprising [and welcome]. A very colourful reminder of what Gerald King is about. Not to everyone's taste but..........

I was sent the following scan by member 'thegrandma8'. It shows the latest offering from Gerald King, namely a 50th Anniversary item since the first Wonderland stamps ! The label was issued in a sheetlet of 4 in small quantities. A cover was also produced. It is worth pointing out that Mr.King started his Wonderland venture in 1965, angry that Royal Mail did not celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Alice. The rest, as they say, is history. However Royal Mail did celebrate the 150th Anniversary in January this year with a nice set of stamps. Now there's a strange twist !
