Back in the early days I made quite a few different color themes some are a little funky on the eyes. Here are a few of your choices. The first one is the black which I think is the default theme The second is a blue theme. I know this is a popular theme for forums. When OI first began this forum I wanted it to look a wee bit different to other forums. ( I STILL NEED TO EDIT UP THE BANNER IMAGE If you would like to have the blue and I belive there is a red theme as well all you need to do is go into your profile , go to settings and change it I have a step by step guide for you in the following images. I think we run a poll to see what members like better to set as the default theme that guests or new members will have Black or Blue STEP 1 STEP 2 STEP 3 STEP 4 STEP 5 SAVE THEME

Admin I must admit that I like the "Blue" over the "Black" - I think it is that little bit easier on the eyes and less heavier

Do not like the current choice, hard on the eyes, have to search for "recent Posts" Keep it simple Keep it clean
Webmasters love to twiddle with the knobs.

Oh dear ! What happened to the navigation bar ? When I went to bed it was clear, simple and unclogged. When I woke up [yes, I dash to the forum with my eyes half open] it was very unclear, not simple and very clogged up !! Please change it back, I cannot read it. It was fine the way it was. If it 'aint broke........... Londonbus1

LB I agree about the Navigation bar. looks too cluttered and they don't look like "buttons" at all.

I am not sure you need to revert it back, If we are to be a democracy, then the black theme has it, 4 to 1.

Hi
At first I thought the black theme was too harsh. Now that black has been in place it really is easier to read, at least for old eyes.
I agree that the navigation bar is too cluttered. If there are 'groups' why have blogs at the top? I would definitely go back to the original.

My old eyes agree with JerryB -- the black theme is much easier for me to spend hours looking at!

The blue has been here since the beginning(the dawn of time It was one of the first themes we had, I think it lasted about an hour before I went with the black, I have about 6 different themes I believe BC I think uses a blue one and Perf14 a red theme. ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS RESET the theme or pick one that will be saved to your settings. I have made no changes. I have tidied up the nav bar.

Yes its very tempting to twist knobs here in the control room of The TSF helm, lots of shiny buttons and switches Last night I was looking at XMAS add on for the site, one was falling snow wonder how members would like that lol. I did it on the test forum and after a few minutes the monitor was full of snow.

Cock a Snooking..... This British Stamp Meter for the World Refugee Year was banned, Because given the particular place the meter appeared on the envelope, it could happen the Queen of England could end up "Cock a Snooking" all her subjects.

Hi
Thank you Rodney for that enlightenment. New Oz dictionary entry, or should it be Rodney Dictionary entry as per Jack's response:
Oz American Cock a Snooking Thumb one's nose at.
For Rodney: There is a lady here in Atlanta who just opened a store with British and Australian products. Believe it or not she sells Vegemite, or something like it. I asked her what it tastes like and she told me that if I do not come from Australia I better buy something else.

Jerry considered : "There is a lady here in Atlanta who just opened a store with British and Australian products. Believe it or not she sells Vegemite, or something like it. I asked her what it tastes like and she told me that if I do not come from Australia I better buy something else. "
Yes, mere males from other countries, find "Vegemite" high in distaste, I know Londonbus hates it, but, yet, with endurance, one can come to loves the savoury, biting taste, there is an adjoining skill, in just how much to put on your toast. Too much, is overkill, and overpowering. For a quick, healthy snack, a bit on toast with your morning cuppa, is just yummy with a factor of 10.
I reckon equal amounts of butter and Vegemite, but since giving up fat in my diet, the old Vegemite on dry toast is challenging.

"I would guess that cocking a snook is bad for getting high scores from the judges ..." Nice to see you assisting in the preservation of our lovely language. I have to wonder though, what you are watching on youtube whilst your stamps are soaking. I am not sure I'd give that guy a low score, he may come knocking, late one evening.
