This! This has stumbled me for many years. i have even written to the C.N.G.E.I and other scouting organizations in Italy and have not been able to find any info about these set of scouting ephemera. I have this and other images which appear to be proofs of the same and have seen a cover sold on eBay about 3 years ago with said cinderella attached. Anyone here know about this puzzling piece?

oldpapercollect.......I have never seen your Cinderella before but it looks like an interesting Scouting label. Produced to commemorate the 50th Year of Scouting in 1957 and specifically for the Jubilee Jamboree held at Sutton Park, Warwickshire, England. Many countries produced labels and other souvenirs for this special occasion and these would have been made available both at home and at the Jamboree. For a collector of Scouting memorabilia, this is a very nice item. SOSSI, Scouts on Stamps Society International will know more. sossi.org/index.shtmlThey have a Facebook page if you can enquire there (or I can) Londonbus1

Thank you kindly. I have puzzled over this for some time and would appreciate any info. Some 2-3 years ago there was an envelope with the stamp posted on eBay. I placed bids on it but I did not win the auction, I inquired from the seller about it but he had no other info. When I purchased these, it seemed that they were a printer's proof of some kind and there was also cloth printed labels. I can upload here if that can help.

Hi Londonbus1 and oldpapercollect , the Sutton Park Jamboree was a big event for 50 Years of Scouting. It was of course the year that the 3 GB scouting stamps shown previously both as issued, and with the Gulf States overprints were produced. Here is a GB Cinderella sheet from that Jamboree . The "PERFORATIONS" are not real, not punctured, merely black printed dots

I recently learned that St. George...yes that same St. George, is the patron saint of the Scout Movement and in some countries his effigy represents Scouts. Also they [Scouts] are referred to as "Good Turn". Here are two examples.

Every Scout Stamps collection should have one set of these I was told. They are so expensive. I still trying to figure out why the signatures on these. Anyone willing to offer an opinion?

Michel lists them as a "half-official" - issue from Nov.7th,1918.Print-quantity 30.000
Actually they are not that expensive,in the up to € 100.- for the two,and about the same for the light blue variety of the 10 H. 600 sets were overprinted for president Masaryk. This set is expensive !
The (stamped) signatures are expertising-cancels. I know one of them only: Gilbert stands for Prof.Dr.Ing. Rudolf Gilbert (1896-1984),who was the leading expert for all around Czechoslovakia. In the german "philatelic world" it was and still is normal, that expertised stamps were stamped on the back by the expert. There are not too complicated rules in regard of the position of that stamping, showing the kind and quality of the signed stamp. If a stamp cannot be signed on it´s back,if it is on paper,as it is in your case, the sign will be positioned close to the stamp.

A scout cover that might have been ! A 27c Australian pre-paid envelope on the theme of Scouting (see 2nd image) Problem is, it's been plastered with stamps covering up what would have been an interesting Cache. Oh well

The 1982 issue from Zaïre for the 75 years of the scouting movement (here I can show the 5 standard issues), was reused a few years later for the World Youth Year in 1985, with an overprint of the Youth Year's logo and overprinted face values, even though they bizarrely were sometimes the same denomination!
