1918 overprint on Russian stamp. Nice one! I am not au-fait with that design, my Stanley Gibbons has it as an "ODESSA 1" Type 4 style.

Andy, I have sent you a short set of the unissued Ukraine, I usually message members with despatch receipt, but I was gasbagging with the Postmaster, and he didn't give me a receipt, possibly threw it in the bin. Hopefully you will receive in >20 days.

[ADMIN Note: the original post and others have been removed as their image links were broken, rendering the posts uninformative.] I see the original post included the 2,3 and 5 of this inissued series- were these ever assigned a SG or Sc # (on a side note--- lately PMSG seems to be saving batch images in cyerland that I have ytet to discover... sometimes it works othertimes this is the best I can get)

Scott has a footnote for these stamps, but no catalog number. MICHEL assigned them X numbers which they do for "official" stamps that were printed but never distributed for public use. I don't have access to Stanley Gibbons to know how they deal with these stamps.

I see the original post included the 2,3 and 5 of this inissued series- were these ever assigned a SG or Sc # Only a few Ukranian catalogs list them so footnotes in other catalogs would be all. The date generally given is 1921 not 1920. They are very common and a full set of 14 would be under $10. The only one which is more difficult to find is the trident.
They can also be found as imperfs and different colors - these command higher CV

A couple of weeks ago I was sitting at my desk in my office at work and a couple of colleagues brought me a large empty box saying that someone had brought it over from our sister hotel over the weekend. I knew immediately who it was by a little note that came along with it. I have an old colleague who has since moved onto a different job who continues to save covers for me. She works for an organization that receives annual registrations and she saves all the envelopes every year and gives them to me. This is the box front which came from the Ukraine. Unfortunately the postmarks are illegible and I do not know what it contained or why it was sent to my former colleague but I am happy that she saved it for me nonetheless. There are 22 copies of the Shatsk municipal arms stamp issued in 2018, Mi 1622V, and 3 copies of the Bakhmut municipal arms stamp issued in 2021, Sc. no. 1304.
