I bought this stamp while back but I just recently discovered what the cancel is! According to the Skinner & Eno United States cancellations 1845-1869 it's a PM-PD 15 New York, NY. "PAID ALL " cancellation.

It looks like there was a second strike starting at the right. The stroke in the margin looks like part of a P. It must have been a wonderful looking cover sometime in the past. BTW, the stamp is fantastic. Perfect centering, all perfs intact (although a few on the right are a bit short). A definite keeper. mark
