Napthalene Flakes. (Also Moth Balls)
I have used for 10 years, placed in a sealed envelope, at the bottom of my Stamp drawers / bookcases.
I try not to encourage my Silverfish (Lepisma saccharina) or mice (Mus musculus) to become Philatelists.
Recently unable to source in Australia.
Distributor notice: Hovex no longer manufactures Napthalene Flakes. They are a Carcinogen and banned in Australia.
Moth Balls (4 or 6 little balls in a plastic sealed container) are still available at the outrageous price of $4
The smell of Napthalene on stamps dissipates quickly when introduced to fresh air, no harm noted.
