This set of four was issued October 20, 1956 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the Anglo-French Condominium governing the islands (Scott 78-81). The 5c emerald and 10c crimson stamps depict the discovery of New Hebrides; the 20c ultramarine and 50c purple feature Britannia, Marianne, Flags and a mask.

The King George VI 1938 stamps from New Hebrides are fairly easy to identify. There are both English and French versions, a couple of color varieties, and one French overprint. I have a website showing the three options from this set. Use the link below to see the complete group.
