Please accept my sympathies, Robert ( WERT). I am sorry to say that I have damaged my share of stamps, too, despite my efforts to be careful....

Rene...Very nice proofs...Beware there were reprints from the original..Not saying yours are reprints...Investigate more my friend, to be safe. Robert
Here is my example of a real proof i have 6 pence..so hard to tell..Everyone must be careful.
RENE...Not trying to scare you, but looking at N.S., NFLD, etc DIE PROOFs, i would expect P.E.I. DIE PROOFs would be probably be between $100.00 - $1000.00+ each. There are plenty of just proof stamps out there from PEI.

A new addition just arrived from an overseas auction; been waiting a long while for it to arrive.

OK, nbstamper, since you now have 30 of these in beautiful condition, would you be willing to trade me one? How's that for absurd wishful thinking? I don't even have a single that's as nice as any of those 30.... wow!

Well it took awhile but watching listings the seller finally marked these down to a price I couldn't turn down. From an old PEI post - Since that post I noticed that Unitrade 2021 does not change its way of listing (not listing) these "die proofs" - 10 colors of the 6d (#7 Unitrade) Value $20 each and I figure (having been raised in a printing etc business) these are copies but they are nice for the value. For N.B. and Nova Scotia, they are not copies. René

What I collect: I collect world wide up to 1965 with several specialty albums added due to volume of material I have acquired. At this point I am focused on Canada and British America. I am always on the lookout for stamps and covers with postmarks from communities in Queens County, Nova Scotia. I do list various goods including stamps occasionally on eBay as hdm50

This thread had been dormant for a year and I happened to be looking at my Canada Provinces album so I thought I would share my Prince Edward Island collection. They are all mint and several in mounts are never hinged. There a couple of what I felt were recognized shade varieties that are included. I am surprised that with all the old collections I have bought over the years I have not stumbled on a few used copies. I have made a couple attempts over the last few years to acquire copies of the Unitrade 1, 2 and 3 but to no avail.
