Hello, I have not seen these particular types of labels discussed elsewhere on this forum. I thought that some might like to see a few advertising labels from the early days of the Postal Telegraph and Western Union Companies. There are many, many hundreds of these. Most are common, several dozens are difficult to find today, and a handful are rare. Jim p.s. To be honest, this is my first attempt at creating a thread and inserting hosted images. I'm just trying to figure this out. Apologies for the quality of the images, I did them quickly with a camera instead of a scanner.

Hi
Most were produced in the 1930s and 1940s.

Hey Jim! New member here and just starting to peruse this wonderful forum. Love your collection of telegraph labels and poster stamps. I am currently working on a book on U.S. Telegraph stamps to compliment my U.S. Telephone stamp book and one of the things I have included are these wonderful gems you posted above. It is amazing how many there are. I communicate with other collectors in this area and I have to say, you have some very nice examples above that I have not yet catalogued. If you would be at all interested in collaborating with me on this it would be much appreciated and credited. I also enjoy trading with other collectors so please feel free to contact me. William
