Here's another page of classics that I found in the plastic tub that I bought in Mississippi recently. You'll be surprised at what you can find in those cotton fields. Ain't they purty.... 1851 to 1862 Pros know the numbers. Some faulty, but nice. Thanks for viewing.

Dave exciting find for sure.Frankly I'm jealous I love great bargains and this looks like a goldmine.must have been the opposite of what we usually see i.e. people think any stamp related things are worth the treasure of the Fort Knox. Are there more in the tub ?

Lot's more... Every time I stick my hand in the tub it's like a Cracker Jacks box. The surprises are one after the other. Thanks for checking it out.

A few more things I pulled from the plastic tub I bought from the junk dealer in Mississippi. Trans Mississippi's, Colombians, Pan Am's Two of the 1 and 2 cent 1898 Trans- Miss appear to be unused. The 3, 5 and 6 cent 1893 Colombians look like their unused. Right 1,4,left 5,8 and 10 cent 1901 Pan Am's also look unused. The tiny white speck of paper top left about the fourth perf. of #299 was caught under the stock page. The stamps's ok. Thank you for viewing.

#'s 397 to 400A are well represented. The #397's, 1 cent green, appear to be unused. Nice to see #'s 400 and 400A together. Just pulled these from the plastic tub from Mississippi. Thanks to jamesw noting the 1915 2 cent carmine perf.10 #402 and the 1915 5 cent blue #403 perf.10 The rest are 1913 perf.12's. Thank you for viewing.

Nice find. Two obvious perf 10s, the first 2¢ (with an interesting colour variation) and the left hand 5¢

So right, James ! Fine eye for detail.
There's so much more to share with everyone. It's a mesmerizing find. The entire collection was stored in a shed and forgotten for more than half a century. Take a look at the officials I posted earlier today. They catalog at around 8k 2014 Scott's. The officials came from the same plastic tub that I bought from the junk dealer in Mississippi. There were several tubs. I haven't scratched the surface. Hundreds of fdc's alone from the early 20th century. Quite a few 19th century covers. There's a 1909 Schaubek's filled with Penny Blacks, Blues and Red's. The album is so fragile and brittle that I have to turn the 400-plus pages one at a time in slow motion. Every page is a knockout punch full of classics. The pages are too brittle to place on the scanner. It's breathtaking !
Thanks for looking.
