Couldn't believe this one when I got it home. Purchased from a gentleman at my stamp club. Gave me a discount because of the hinky right side. Filler really, but it is a #35. On closer examination at home I saw an incredible repair job on the upper right corner. THEY EVEN USED A PIECE OF A DIFFERENT STAMP! Looks like they even tried to hide it with some ink lines. I'm not even sure where the piece came from. I'm sure the guy didnt realize, but I'll be returning it. Even for filler, this is embarrassing!

If you want to keep it as a filler, the addition will probably soak off...or you can start a new topical collection on really poor repairs.
The portion that was added doesn't appear to have come from another U.S. stamp. I wonder if any of our members will recognize the stamp that was used to make the repair.

Is that a US stamp or a foreign stamp that has been pasted on? Whoever it was was very determined, even tied the two together with some sort of cancel, but really had no skill whatsoever. That is a neat keepsake.
