So I am going through a bunch of world stuff that I got from I don't remember where and I come across a small postcard type that is from the FSM Postal Service and is marked OFFICIAL PROOF of the 1986 AMERIPEX $1.00 Souvenir Sheet. The outlined stamp is Hayes holding Chief to ransom for 5000 coconuts and a young girl. Proof is black and white. Any idea how I catalog this (through Scott or Gibbons or?) or a value of such a creature? Thanks as always----- Jeff

So I am going through a bunch of world stuff that I got from I don't remember where and I come across a small postcard type that is from the FSM Postal Service and is marked OFFICIAL PROOF of the 1986 AMERIPEX $1.00 Souvenir Sheet. (sorry no picture yet). The outlined stamp is Hayes holding Chief to ransom for 5000 coconuts and a young girl. Proof is black and white. Any idea how I catalog this (through Scott or Gibbons or?) or a value of such a creature? - Will try to get a picture on for tomorrow. Thanks as always----- Jeff Hi, Jeff: I have a very nice condition 1986 AMERIPEX catalogue, and when I first saw your post, I figured that your item might well have come from there, as the catalogue contains several souvenir sheets. I had a good look-through, and could not find anything that met your description. So, no idea how to value to it, other than searching the Internet or eBay for a similar item, but at least it doesn't come from the standard-issue catalogue, so it may be a bit harder to find than that. I'm looking forward to seeing the picture! Thanks, Chris ( Beryllium Guy)

Jeff, It appears to be a proof of Micronesia's Scott C25. This dealer is selling it for $5.00.
