Here's kind of a fun cover that was in a collection I purchased a couple of months ago. Postmarked August 17 1929, dedicating the Dundirk Fredonia Landing Field C-A#15, with purple cachet. Oddly cancelled in Buffalo NY, rather than Fredonia (or even Dunkirk or Chautauqua, which are also mentioned on the cachet). Probably the sender bought it at the event the mailed it when he/she got home to Buffalo. What makes it more fun is the cinderella on the back also dedicated to the field, issued by the local Rotary Club. Also inside was this heavy card from the local Freedonia Chamber of Commerce Fun...WOW!

It's a beautiful cover, James, thanks for sharing. It is also really nice that the Cinderella on the back is tied to the cover by the Islington, Ontario cancellation!
