Thurn and Taxis 3 Kreuzer Stamped Envelope
From Alsfeld on September 1, 1865, transit through Lauterbach on September 1 and arriving in BUdingen on September 2. I think the trip from Lauterbach to Budingen was on the Berlin-Frankfurt trunk railway, but that is a guess. The cities are linked by a road today that would take 1.5 hours to drive, so they are not so far apart.
