Letters (1 ounce): 49 cents (current), 50 cents (proposed)
Letters (additional ounces): 21 cents (no change from current price)

Domestic postcards: 34 cents (current), 35 cents (proposed)
Small flat-rate box: $7.15 (current), $7.20 (proposed)

Large flat-rate box: $18.85 (current), $18.90 (proposed)
Regular flat-rate envelope: $6.65 (current), $6.70 (proposed)

Well, if you're a modern mint US collector and these proposed rates come to pass, you'll have about $60 face value in the new stamps produced to handle these tiny 5 cent rate increases on the high face value stamps. Leastwise, I would be surprised if it turns out that there are not new stamps produced - it would certainly be viable to simply add a 5 cent stamp alongside the existing high-value issues but I wouldn't expect things to turn out that way.

I do not think you will see many new stamps just due to rate change. I would expect a second ounce rate, priority mail, and express mail. Forever stamps reduced that need but then also reduced collectible varieties (same design in multiple formats and printers).
