I have some of these. Are there any other differences between the old die and the new die other than the size of the design? (19 x 22.5 mm for the old die and 18.5 x 22mm for the new die) I'd like to make sure I get the ones I have assigned the correct Scott #. For example 172 vs 172a. I see there is quite a bit of difference in Scott catalog value between old and new die varieties.
Thanks...

It is naturally more complicated
1922 1 1 first issue 19 X 22.5 Wmk 1, Old die, 3rd highest CV
1929 9 1 Old die but colors changed, Wmk 1, - these have by far the highest CV and may be what Scott refers to
1930-31 New die, colors basically the same as the previous 18.5 X 22, Wmk 1, 2nd highest CV
1937 4 1 New die, colors changed again 18.5 X 22 Wmk 1, Low CV
1937 late New die, this issue is printed on very white paper, new colors, Wmk 3 change, Low CV. The ones previous were on a slightly yellowish tinted paper
