"Indochina, originally Indo-China, is a geographical term originating in the early nineteenth century and referring to the continental portion of the region now known as Southeast Asia. The name refers to the lands historically within the cultural influence of India and China, and physically bound by the Indian Subcontinent in the west and China in the north. It corresponds to the present-day areas of Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, and (variably) peninsular Malaysia and Singapore. The term was later adopted as the name of the colony of French Indochina (today's Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos), and the entire area of Indochina is now usually referred to as the Indochinese Peninsula or Mainland Southeast Asia. In 1949, lndo-China was divided Into Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam each issuing its own stamps."

1919 - Issue of 1907 Surcharged in Black, Blue or Red (Sc#65-82)
Scott # 65-68-69
I am almost sure that #68 is a fake Type A (Inverted Surcharge CV £135 ), i could not confirm online if this specific invert o.p has been documented as a forgery before, but i guess any high value error is at risk . It looks like the inverted over print was added after the original BOLD one.

Showing a few more French Indochina issues: First row: Martyred cities issues from 1944 (YT #292-93), printed without gum on very low quality paper. Second row: From the 1927 definitive series, YT #139 showing the Angkor temple in Cambodia. Third row: From 1945 (YT #296-98), overprinted French issue type showing the colonial holdings (and mirroring a similar 1940 issue). Fourth row: From the 1931-39 definitives set, six stamps with a detail of an Angkor temple statue

A few more French Indochina stamps, from the Vichy period. Indochina stayed committed to the Vichy government until its fall. Not that it had much choice in the matter after Japan installed troops on its territory and was essentially an occupying power. So here we have: First row: Marshal Pétain series, YT #243-248, from 1943-44. Note the "EF" (Etat Français) marking on the top right corner, replacing the more usual RF. Second row: Sport issues (with a definitely fascist feel), YT #284-285, in 1944, and Saigon Fair issue in 1942 (YT #231). Third row: Local kings issue, YT # 236-237, from 1943-44, here the stamps for the King of Annam Bao-Dai and HRH Norodom Sihanouk, who did go on to reign over Cambodia for several decades, with a hiatus during the Khmer Rouge revolution.

A few more 1943-44 French Indochina issues: First row: Heroes of aviation issues, featuring Roland Garros and Do Huu Vi, YT # 274-77. Second row: Cité universitaire issues, YT # 278-80. Third Row: Alexander of Rhodes issue, YT # 287.

Because I really like this territory, here are some varieties including S of cents in the shape of an 8, then overload 4 closed (which also exists for all Indochinese offices). Maybe someone can tell me more about this variety, box, number ...? I can also show for other offices if you want.

I also did a search on a few post offices that I am attaching to you here ... Wow, that's a fabulous Indochina postmark collection! Very well laid out, including some specialised stuff like Corr d'Arme and French Paquebot. I love it! Thanks for sharing.
