What I collect: I collect world wide up to 1965 with several specialty albums added due to volume of material I have acquired. At this point I am focused on Canada and British America. I am always on the lookout for stamps and covers with postmarks from communities in Queens County, Nova Scotia. I do list various goods including stamps occasionally on eBay as hdm50

For some reason this evening I decided to look through my small selection of duplicates and came across this strip of 3 Canada small queen Unitrade 35 with an R.P.O. cancel that I had paid no attention to before. From a posting on this thread I was able to follow a link to BNAPS Railway Post Office Study Group and got all the information about the postmark. It is from the Wellington, Grey & Bruce Railway - Southern Extension ( W.G & B - K & P). NOTE: This post has been edited with the removal of the second image as it may have broken the BNAPS's copyright rules. I was able to identify the cancel by some drilling down on this link including images of an example on a cover. bnaps.org/hhl/n-rpo.htm

When I first came upon TSF on March 28, 2021 it was while looking for information in R.P.O. cancels so it seems fitting at just after my 2 year anniversary I should acquire another Canadian railway item. The Halifax, Bridgewater & Yarmouth line travelled the south shore of Nova Scotia passing through my home county of Queens. The cancels on this Canada Post Card are so crisp that I suspect it was a philatelic cover.
