The Mahabharat is one of the two major Sanskrit epics of ancient India, the other being Ramayana. The Mahabharat is the longest epic poem known and has been described as the longest poem ever written. It's longest version consists of over 200,000 verse lines divided into 18 chapters. On 27th November, 2017, India Post released a mega issue on Mahabharat. The issue consists of a sheetlet of 18 stamps ( each for a chapter of the epic), and two miniature sheets.
