I composed & sent a message, but instead of going out to its intended recipient, it went to the bit bucket instead.
Is there a reason why sending messages is so difficult for me?

Peter, I hope that Steve ( Admin) or someone will be able to help you. I am sorry that I cannot. But I do have a small question about your post. Is the term "bit bucket" a real place or just an expression intended to mean that the message effectively disappeared? I apologize if this is a silly question, but I never heard that expression before. Thanks, Chris

Pete,
I don't know why you are having so much difficulty sending forum personal messages but I'll try to help you figure it out offline. I just sent you a test message.
If you received my message, please reply by telling me if the message that you composed that went into the "bit bucket" resides in your outbox.

The "bit bucket" is an old (from my days at the CFFC Edmonton office in 1979-1981). Stuff that ended up disappearing were said to have gone to the bit bucket!

Oh my gosh, I miss him too. If your life is measured by the thoughts you leave with others when you are gone, then Pete was a great man.
