all of a sudden some issues, and I'm noit sure if this is something I have unknowingly done....?

single images- I have developed a larger margin on the top of the corrected image- and i can find no way to make the margins even. I've tried different stamp sizes with the same result...

and batch processing - sometimes the batch files are saved where they are supposed to go, but most of thime, they are going somewhere I know not...I have searched all drives ( 3 1TB) by complete file names and no sign of them, although the process seems to have worked perfectly until i try and save

I have even removed the software, redownloaded and reinstalled the 1_11 (Mac)

any ideas? (I'm thinking it's operator induced...but no idea what or how)

First, as to the extra space at the top, this is likely caused by debris or spots on the background, For example, in the image shown above, there's a white spot at the top right corner that the software might be interpreting as part of the stamp. That's why it's important to have a background that is as clean as possible. To fix this, try upping the threshold setting. For a single image, it's under "Settings", "Threshold Settings".

Second, as to the batch output location, do you have a default output location set, and is the Target box next to it checked? These settings can be found by clicking on the orange Batch icon with a wrench on it. If you change these settings and want to make your new settings the default, get them where you want them, then click "Settings", "Save Default Settings."
