Was just taking a stroll through my cinderella book and found this 1935 APS label I acquired some time back. Am surprised I didn't post it earlier. It's quite lovely. And a good size too. The image area is about 30 x 67 cm

I presume "crescent city" is the shape of New Orleans cityscape.
Anyone familiar with the two flags on the Left hand side, and their meaning?
Belay the request, wiki sorted that. ------------

I have mailed these maxicards as "postcards" from USA to Romania, with the stamps counting as postage (even overpaying a bit). I have postmarked them with my own MPP canceller, on the date shown, the date of the mailing. From 16 different variations of postcards and stamps that I mailed, 15 have arrived to Romania. One was probably intercepted by a postal worker who couldn't resist the temptation. I designed the postcards, as well. Some of them went through Canada Post( ), which added its own inkjet spray-on cancel.

Very nice Dorincard, it must be a challenge sometimes, to get a clear Pmk impression, on the face of a shiny Postcard.
How does the MPP work / operate ?

Thank you! Yes, rod222, it is a challenge with regular, aqueous ink, on a glossy postcard AND on the plastic-coated Zazzle stamps!!! Since 2007, I discovered or I came up with various solutions, like: - transparent (or white) labels - razor blade fine scraping, - dishwashing pad fine scraping, - matte finish spraying, etc. The most elegant solution is to use a PIGMENT-BASED INK: StazOn, made in Japan and available at some stationery stores, online and offline (in various colors). I even designed postcards at Zazzle where I put the image on (or also on) the less-glossy backside! Also, I can apply a percentage of transparency on the image, while I edit it at photobucket or so. About MPP: See the group that I founded on Facebook: www.facebook.com/groups/427062007360280/I am also member of this club: www.mppclub.org/index.html

The first thing that struck me about this rather poor label is the fact that the 'World famous Medical centre' in Rochester took precedence over the event !!

Jinkies! Nice stuff. I know we've seen this here before, but I picked this up today, so thought it warranted showing off, nice and close up!
Just gotta track down the other three colours.
