I did find this in an pile of stamps. Have no idea but I have seen something like it on stampworld. Is it something worth taking care of? Click on image to get full resolution 1200dpi

appears to be a 1851-57 George Washington 3 c
It also apears to be a Type I (a single outer frame)
the question is whether it is the orange brown ( Scott # 10 ) which has a 2017 CV of $200 for a used specimen with all four side/frames (yours is 3 of 4)
or
Scot # 11 dull red (1855) CV = $15

Thanks Stanley. For me it looks more brown than red. But I have to wait for the daylight tomorrow. I will put it in a safe place.

I found this, although most all of the US is boxed up as I have not even begun to go through it. Also a Type I looks more orange-brown than dull red to me- The SG color key is no help with these two shades
