Hi is a good example of a doctor blade flaw. Scott 593 "Caricature Definitives" This is not a single, but a double doctor blade flaw...Very neat. Robert

It's the first time i meet such a flaw. It is a plate flaw or what in Italy we call "Taglio chirurgico", i.e. A small particle which stop in the printing cylinder creating a line crossing the stamp?

It is a small defect in the Doctor Ductor blade..It was suppose to wipe the plate clean. It can either is behind the blade or a small nick in the blade. See other example below.. Robert
