Which people/channels do you folks recommend to be followed on social media? Since I started getting back in collecting about 12 months ago I have been following a channel on YouTube called Exploring Stamps - link which is really starting to gain a good following and Graham puts together great educational episodes. It's a great channel to follow to learn the history behind certain stamps. There's another chap who I follow on Twitter - link and he has a Patreon page where if you're a member of you will receive monthly packs of stamps and various gifts etc.
I'd be interested to know who else is out there that's worth following as I'm sure these aren't the only people doing good stamp related content online. The North Toronto Stamp Club (NTSC) has done three videos and are all fantastic. I keep pushing them to do more. Philatelythings has a few videos on pop-culture and stamps (which is great for geeky me). She has done Animal Crossing and just did Board Games. My favourite at the moment is Mallard Stamps. He is a complete beginner but its really fun to watch him discover stamp collecting and teach him about different aspects of collecting. And he is also really open to being educated which I think is a huge plus. Conversations with Philatelists is extremely popular at the moment. The social media demographic is thirsty for information and they seem to love experts talking about basic things. I think that's great. If you speak Spanish/Portuguese, Mi Oficina and Sociedade Philatelica Paulista have a tonne of videos. I just don't find that English captions are not always available, which is a shame.

Well, if anything can be summed up by this thread thus far it's that social media certainly seems to polarize opinion! Thanks for all the posts and many different recommendations, I'll certainly be checking out all of these in the near future once I have another quiet(ish) spell with work. As for the Virtual Stampex 2020, it sounds really unique and I can't wait to pay a visit to it that's for sure.
