Timbres-Telegraphe, 1868, perforated, n o 5-8. Even more shades. For some reason, I find the cancellations, in blue or black, which are often framed by the stamp layout, to be particularly attractive. Not sure what is going on with the 25c and 1f color-wise, which appear far more intense than any of the cancelled versions. Perhaps some aspect of the aging process (at 156 years and counting).
