Can you expand John? I don't understand.

The white frame around the stamps looks different to me and also the perforations. The sheet stamp on top the mini sheet example on the bottom.

I see, a SG instanta perf guage will sort the perfs, considering the MS is a block perf, the sheet possible comb perf. This may give a visual difference, but may be similar when seperated. A $10 stamp would have been more attractive if bi-coloured?

True Rod. But it is the celebration of Australia's First stamp being the 1d Red Roo. The packaging from the stamp pack. It is a good thing to record.

Sorry John, not overly impressed. That looks more like a greyhound than a kangaroo. I try to curb criticism in stamps, but I think Blamire Young would be turning in the old pine box. It was with a great deal of effort and foresightedness, we kicked the Monarchs off the vignette, this is a bit wishy washy for mine, for such an important design decision.

And the design debate is still alive and well after all these years. It will never end! How amazing is that? But King George V's sheet of the engraved 1d red KGV is said to carry a cancel that predates that of the Roo!

Really? I'd like to see that. Rather than continue with my bias, I went directly to my colleague Skippy, and showed him the stamp. He was disgusted and had to cool off.

Hannah used the same cartoon, long before John White, with the $5 stamp.
