mikeclevenger Mike, thanks for the response I do have holes in the Germany part (Sc 1-) classics only If you have available "dups" in that section - I would create a new want list (done in the past but some holes were filled)Good luck in the selling portion - a big JOB !! LOL René Send me a quick list and I will see what I can do.

Mike Hope you are coming back healthy and very motivated (to sell Germany) If you do small lots that would interest us, I am sure I would look at them and if the price is reasonable........ Good Luck !! René Good day Rene. I am selling ALL of my Germany. Of course, I will try to sell the Germany albums complete at first, but that rarely works. I have so many extras, I don't know how many years it will take me. LOL. I may just sell entire stock books, just to save me time, I haven't decided yet.
Have a great day.

Good morning. Well, I have been away fro TSF for months now. Just had surgery so I have been home for 4 weeks so far, and go back to work next week finally. While i have been off I have been working on my Ohio Tax stamps of course, and working on the new pages for them. I have also been working on selling off my entire Germany collection. This will be no small job, since I have entire cabinet full of Germany albums and stock books, and then some more in another cabinet. Maybe I have too many?? LOL.
So far I have only sold a small Baden collection out of my main book, but the others will follow soon. I takes so much time to look up all the stamps to get a value, just so you can make up some kind of decent price, to list them on Ebay. Then you have to pull every stamp out of the book, look at them for faults, just to make sure you try to sell someone damaged stamps, that you didn't list as such. So, I will finish someday. LOL. Glad to have time to look on TSF again though.
Have a great day.
Mike.

I think that the modern stamps cover more subjects, and maybe even prettier scenes and such, but I prefer the look of a well engraved stamp any day.

My Michel Germany specialized contains all the foreign post offices & colonies (the 2016 edition, vol. 1). Are you perhaps referring to a different edition? Yes, we are talking about the English version. The German version has everything in it. The English version is missing so much information, and it doesn't tell you that in the descriptions before you buy it. I bought mine about a year ago. Here is what is in the English Version.

I am actually working on some old US stamps this morning. Found these in a box in my cabinet, I had completely forgotten about them. Just going through them to see which ones I need, then the rest will most likely go to Ebay. There aren't a lot of US Stamps I need, except the expensive ones, so I rarely even open the book up any more.
Not too bad for just laying around and forgotten about. LOL.
Have a great day.

I do hope the English translated Michel specialized includes these (once it finally arrives!) Boy, are you going to be disappointed! There are no German Colonies in the English version. Yes, I said NO German Colonies. I was very disappointed in this, as I collect all the colonies.
I wish I knew you wanted an English version of this, as I bought 2 on accident, and have a brand new, still shrink wrapped English Version. I forgot to ship it back to Amazon until it was too late to return it, so I am out a good bit of money, for a book that just lays around like an unemployed slacker. LOL.
Have a great day.

Thanks all! Based on the information I can (now) find, the position of the "P" makes these all reprints Here are three original 10 Centimes at the bottom of this page. The two on the left are both points down and the right one is points up. This is a page from a stockbook I got that I am getting ready to break up. Most of the stockbook is classic European, Canadian, & Danish countries stamps that I don't collect, so off to Ebay they go.
Have a great day.

I did not see a sold list for the specific Scott number SP305, If you did, please advise on what you searched. Well, I thought you were talking about souvenir pages in general. There are no SP305's that have sold. Sorry, my bad.
One thing I did notice is that most people are not using the Scott SP numbers in their listings. They are just using the regular stamps Scott number with the words "Souvenir Page' to list these. There are 5 listed on Ebay right now and only one is listed as an SP305, the others are all listed under 7201 Souvenir Page. The lowest price is $19.99 with no sale yet.
I have a stack of souvenir pages that I need to list on Ebay, I just keep forgetting that I have them. LOL.
Have a great day.

Consider getting an adjustable/upgradeable hole punch, not the fixed #/position punches. On the adjustable/upgradeable hole punches, there are individual punch modules that you can shift position on the rod. You can also add punch modules as needed to make it 2, 3, 4... holes -- theoretically as many as you can pack onto the rod, although ultimately you will be limited by the width of each punch module. I assume somewhere they still make/sell these, and I assume they probably aren't cheap either because of low sales quantities. Well, I looked into this. The best I could find was a 6 hole punch, that had 12 positions. So, you could buy two punches and make a 12 hole punch, but I need 13 holes or more. The small punches that fit into these bases, are too wide to match the holes on a 13, 14, or 16. So even if you put 13 small punches side by side, they were wider than the Lighthouse 13 holes. So then I looked into punching 6 or 7 holes at a time. Well, the holes these small punches make are too big, the holes in the lighthouse pages are small.
I did find a company who makes hole punches for such special needs, but it was at a cost of $500 plus to buy one, and I will never recoup that cost, since I don't use that many pages. So, instead, I just look on Ebay every week to find someone selling off an album with blank pages. So far, I have about 200 blank pages, not too bad. It is enough to do the current projects I want to do.
good luck and let me know if you find anything better than I did.
Have a great day.
Mike.

BAVARIA - always of interest to me - not a beggar - do have some.....66 stamps in inventory René Well Rene, send me a need list. make sure it includsd whether you want mint or used because I have plenty of both. I'm not saying I can finish your collection, but I am sure I can help, with as many extras as I have. I don't have any number 1's though, my own is ripped in half, by me personnally. LOL.
Have a great day.

These are souvenir pages issued by the USPS postal service that evolved from first day cancellations of Post Office posters for new issues. The name of the product has changed over time. Scott Number SP305. Catalog Value" $80 (ha). I have seen these listed on ebay but ebay shows no history of any sold at any price. They are not very popular but more interesting to me than cachet first day covers. There are 943 lots of these sold in the last 3 months on Ebay.
Have a great day.

Good luck finding a hole punch. The most I can find is a 6 hole, and I need 13 -16 hole punches. I have plenty of albums, just no hole punches to match.
Have a great day.

I have used so many plate blocks as postage lately, mostly 3 to 13 cents though. I just broke up some 13 centers last night in fact. LOL.

Tomorrow, I will probably do a bit more with adding to and upgrading selected Germany thanks to Mystery Packet finds from Mike ( mikeclevenger ) and to René ( renden ) for some nice stamps he let me choose from his duplicates. I started to organize Bavaria a couple of weeks ago, and I need to get back to that, so it should be next thing, but who knows? If something else catches my eye, then all bets are off. I suppose it's the blessing (and curse) of being a WW collector! Stay stampy, all! Let me know what you need in Bavaria when you finish. I have a few thousand extra Bavaria, as it has always been my favorite of all my Germany stamps.
Have a great day.
