Hi All, hope everyone having a great day ...... Just by looking at the stamps on both items, what will be fair to say?! -both stamps were FlatPlate printed or maybe one looks lil different than the other stamp ......?? I could be wrong, but I am like 80% sure the one on the Postcard (1923) is a flat print stamp But I am not sure, and I wouldn't want to guess about the two attached on the Envelope dated 1921 ...... Please Help! I just love and as always look forward to hearing from our kind knowledgeable member's.... Thanks all in advance! Best Regards Roni

decentguy Your question is impossible to answer based on online images. Perhaps it is time for you to spring for a used Scott catalog and learn these basics yourself.

decentguy yes a catalogue (even an older one) who be quite helpful. There are some software programs that work with your scanner and will not only get similar size / resolutions images , but they will measure quite accurately the printed area (and perforation!) If you can get scanned images of the same size and resolution and compare the two, a rortary plate printed stamp will have typically have a slightly taller dimension. But do get a catalogue, it will become a valuable resource! Cheers Stan

Well to me, all 3 stamps appear to be green. And - the stamp color matches the palm trees!
Seems to be the consensus that you get either:
A) a catalog
B) a catalogue
Can't tell you the technical differences between the two? Perhaps one of our experts will weigh in?!!
