Advertising (poster) stamps for the 1947 Zagreb International Industrial Fair, May-June. Online searches will reveal Posters and Postcards (Souvenir cards?) multicoloured with the 'Yugoslavia inscription omitted.
Nice Block.

Cheers If it looks like a stamp it is a stamp. Is it a postage stamp? No, it's a Cinderella Stamp, some might call it a Poster Stamp or Advertising Stamp for the Zageb Fair in 1947. Daniel

SAG is St Anthony's Guild, WHO is the World Health Organisation, 2 and 3 look interesting. Roni, I wouldn't book a world cruise if I were you based on these cinderellas. They're probably worth a few dollars altogether. All the best, Daniel

What I collect: I collect world wide up to 1965 with several specialty albums added due to volume of material I have acquired. At this point I am focused on Canada and British America. I am always on the lookout for stamps and covers with postmarks from communities in Queens County, Nova Scotia. I do list various goods including stamps occasionally on eBay as hdm50

The anti-Communist stamps could be from anywhere; I'd suspect North America but it could be Australia (South America and South Africa were less likely but possible). I haven't seen any for a long time, but I used to get them on envelopes once in a while, and in packets or mixtures I sent away for. They were primarily issued in communities of exiles or refugees from Soviet-denominated nations, and Lithuania was probably the "captive nation" I saw referred to the most.
I used to live in the next town over from an Estonian community and was aware of some of the activities there. In fact, I once joined a chess team run by an Estonian guy who was agitating for the release of a teenager who was being held in jail. Her name was Kaisa, and one of the old forms of the word "Chess" was Caissa (I think it was a fake Latin word), so it made a pretty good tie-in. We played in the North American Team Championships (and didn't come close to winning anything, though I just started reminiscing about one really fun game that ended in a draw because both my opponent and I played way over our heads). I wasn't aware of the peeps in his town launching any Cinderella stamps, but a lot of them definitely had strong ideas about Communism, Russians, and anybody who didn't care about captive nations.
I'm not aware of any catalog of anti-Communist or pro-Baltic-Freedom cinderellas.
