1841, SG7, One Penny Red, Plate 11, corner Letters R L.
Printed from 'Black' Plate 11 in Red Brown on Blued paper. Die I, Alphabet I, Watermarked Small Crown.
These "black plate" penny reds have been challenging to find with the Letters RL.

That’s a stunning example, Rob ( REL1948)…. Wow! That stamp has 4 ample margins, and the Maltese Cross postmark is superb. Congratulations on an amazing acquisition!

These "black plate" penny reds have been challenging to find with the Letters RL. That's cause somebody's hoarding them. I'd probably do the same thing if they had 3-letter check letter combinations.

REL1948 a gem of a stamp, a delight to see. In that condition, a challenge to find regardless of the corner letters.
