Canada does a really nice job with customer's own FDCs (as they call cachets created by hobbyists and independent operations, as opposed to the official FDCs produced by Canada Post itself). I couldn't find a thread for these, probably because not very many people make them, so I'm starting one. Here are two that just came back to me from the National Philatelic Centre in Antigonish, Nova Scotia: One for the Hanukkah 2022 stamp, and another for the three Holiday Bird stamps which were issued as a souvenir sheet or as individual booklets. I have posted some other Canada FDCs that I've made on other threads earlier this year, e.g. here and here. Mods, if there's a better place for this post, please feel free to move it. Anyway, three cheers for Canada Post for making it easy for someone south of their border to submit FDCs.

Hanukkah is halfway over (tonight is the fourth of eight nights for the holiday). Just in time, here's a hand-drawn cover that I made for Canada's new Hanukkah stamp. I like the design of this year's stamp, and tried to complement it with some quick, colorful sketches. Happy holidays to everyone, however you celebrate!
