dear Philatelists,
I am a new member on this forum from Hungary. The reason that I wanted to join this forum is because my grandfather gave me my great-grandfathers stamp collection. It is about 20 albums full of stamps from all sorts of different countries. I am very curious about them and would love to learn more. I would like to learn something about the hobby itself and to hopefully get some information about the ones I got. I look forward to chatting with you.
kind regards,

What I collect: I collect world wide up to 1965 with several specialty albums added due to volume of material I have acquired. At this point I am focused on Canada and British America. I am always on the lookout for stamps and covers with postmarks from communities in Queens County, Nova Scotia. I do list various goods including stamps occasionally on eBay as hdm50

Welcome to the forum. Having 20 albums given to me would excite me very much but I am sure it could be overwhelming for some one who has not been a collector. I am sure you will find the group here to be helpful.

Welcome to TSF, quandaledingle2947! I can understand from your nice introduction that stamp collecting runs in your family. I can understand it, because it also runs in mine! Anyway, I hope that you will enjoy your time with us. I look forward to some posts of your favorite material. -Chris Back in Southern California after 5 Years in Europe
