Hi Andy PM mounts were individual mounts. They were sealed on 3 sides and one sealed the fourth side after the stamp was inserted. They definitely were not good for the stamp. One could always tell a stamp that had been in a PM mount by the fuzzy black remnants on the back of the stamp. www.ebay.com/itm/193699066919Jerry B

It took surgery to remove some from the PM mounts.

That is an understatement Angore. Also an album page was usually destroyed. As a "better" replacement one went to Crystal Mounts. Another disaster. Then salvation with Showgard.

I use Scott/Prinz 215 mm clear strips. Thank goodness the vendors are now getting them back in stock. And I cut them with my Carl disc cutter.

For creative types, you can use 2x2's from the coin hobby. Homemade slabbing.
