Greetings.
Am looking for information re the postal tax stamps which I believe were issued to raise funds for construction or rehabilitation of a/the general hospital in Mecca.
Scott refers to these issues as PT2, PT2a, and PT3. My primary question pertains to what I perceive as possible varieties beyond what is listed in Scott. Such as shades, perforations, cliché size, etc.
At present my singular SA reference is Scott.
Thanks in advance.

Gibbons Middle East Catalogue lists two issues (as Charity Tax) for the Mecca Hospital Fund. First issues 1936 and 1937. The latter lists Vermilion (shades) and a Rosine. The latter are a smaller size (30½x18mm).
There is another issue 1945-56 whch has 7 issues + shades. These exist in different print types, perforations, Roulettes and papers. The design is slightly different regarding the background shading.

Thank you, LondonBus.
Will contact APRL to see if it can provide photocopies of the associated catalogue pages.
