Australia 1971 Note : Catalogues differ for the 2 expensive "Christmas" stamps, (CV : $10 and $15 respectively) No catalogue appears to give anything other than abstruce ID descriptions. In my block example, read Left to Right, Top to bottom = C B A F E D G C = $15 G = $10 1972 1973

Australians and philosophers - immediately my mind jumps to Monty Python. (For those who appreciate such nonsense, a simple search on YouTube for "Monty Python Bruce" should do it....)

Michael Dodd would be in error in suggesting Kew Council usage. I suspect that it was probably used by the Country Roads Board (a Victorian government authority which has since morphed into VicRoads), located at 60 Denmark Street, Kew.
Actually Michael Dodd is not the author of the Australian Online Stamp Catalogue - he's just a sponsor.

Your suggestion sounds knowledgeable, I'll take that. Thanks for the clarification, I like to at least try and support those from whom I get the information.

I believe that Larry Bailey put together the AOSC. Kudos to him, I am a recent visitor to the site, and from what I can see, it's a cracker. Lots of material other catalogues don't bother to list. Look forward to digging deeper.
