Hi David. As I wrote on my previous post, you can buy Andorra Spanish PO, at Barcelona's (my town) GPO. I go there, at least once a month. Although I don't have any interest on Spanish stamps (only on those that have a relationship with my own country), I go there to buy stamps for cover swaping. So, i know the staff on the philatelic counter. Some months ago, I asked for the Andorra Europe FDC (soon to be shown on the thread) and he told me that he don't do it, but, he was keeping a whole Andorra FDC collection for a customer. As it seems that he was dead, he told me to wait for some months and he'll be able to sell me the whole lot. Last week, I went there, bought the covers shown, plus some more and booked the remaining. I'll pick them on my net visit later this month.
You can get the FDC from Spain's philatelic service in madrid.

Yes, Alec, you're right. Henry of Bourbon, was an Huguenot, and Protestant, king of Navarra. He converted to Catolicism to become king of France. "Paris, is well worth a Mass!". Bourbons, have always been "pragmatics"...

September 1983. 50 years of universal sufrage and 100 years of the visit of Mossèn Jacint Verdaguer to Andorra. The Catalan poet, also a fan of trekking, dedicated some poems to Andorra on his works.

Set of airmail stamps prepared in 1932 for official use by Andorra, but never issued: Interestingly, neither Yvert nor AFA catalogs list those (or their non-overprinted brethren), but Scott and Michel do.

Both Edifil and Filabo catalogs list these issues (with or without overprint) although stating clearly that they were unissued stamps.
Y&T policy when listing Andorra Sp. PO, has not always been clear. For many years, they refused to list the, absolutely legal, 1972 Europa issue. Anyway, it's clear the aim of both 1932 issues. Andorra, has never had an airport, being the nearest that of la Seu d'Urgell, close to Andorra, but on Catalan land.
