From August 1960 till June 1964, India provided a large quota of forces to the operations etc of the United Nations forces in Congo and these had their own postal system
A number (6) of Military Postal Offices/Field Post Offices (FPOs) were established to run the postal system and were issued with overprinted Indian postage stamps on 15 January 1962
This is an example of a postally used cover incorporating some of these stamps

Do you know if any other UN peacekeeping countries maintained post offices in the Congo?
