Here is a decent cover with the 1911 Registration stamp on it which I picked up at our stamp club auction. The registration fee only covered the cost of the registration, the additional two cents is for the postage.

Wow! I always grab then when I see them. They are such a handsome stamp to find still on cover and there is of course a premium for them also. Nice Grab for sure NCBuckeye!!!

Nice, Don! Here is one used to pay the registration fee after the stamp was abolished (May 28, 1913) but still authorized for use until supplies were exhausted.
