Transvaal 1901 PASS employers paid a registration fee and a monthly fee for ID passports for native workers. The stamps being cancelled inside a pass book. #2 CV GBP 7.50

Just for the record Colin, and other members. Catalogue Numbers are Barefoot year 2000 edition.
BTW. That is one strange cancellation on the 1 pound, never seen anything like that before.
