Isle of Man : Calf of Man A generally uninhabited Island 400 metres off the Coast of the Isle of Man. Currency named after John Murrey who first minted Manx currency. Listed under "The Catalogue of British Local Posts" by Gerald Rosen, and the stamps are closely linked to him.  |

1978 Carved Headstones  Not Sure what this is ? Perhaps pane for booklets? Any members with Stanley Gibbons are welcome to assist. Note: This is the 1979 Error sheet eg " Rex Manniae et Insularem" Correct = Insularum (King of Mann and the Isles) Queen Elizabeth ll , is the Lord of Mann.  |

Missing: Sc3 Sc2p Sc3p Sc95 Sc117 Sc118 Sc123 Sc126-129 That should complete my collection to 1986 Missing all the Postage Dues apart from those shown in the 2 scans. I have a swag of Duplicates, no one here seems to collect IOM, so I may shift 'em over to ebay Wanted: modern IOM showing the Manx Cyclist , Mr. Mark Cavendish. The 1977 Europa issue full panes c/w gutters! The 6p, printed by another great printer - The House of Questa. I had to take a shaky photo (I can never stand still for any length of time) as these sheets are far too large for my scanner. |

To honour Manxman artist Bryan Kneale RA, the Isle of Man Post Office issued, in 2015, ten stamps marking 5 decades of his art including sculpture, SG2043-2052. There were 3 sets to each sheet, as below. However, the Post Office blundered and, if you look closely at the 3 Horse drawing stamps in the far right column, you will see that the Queen's head is missing from the lower 2 versions.
