Okay, the actual “bookmarking” (or “adding a bookmark” or “making a favorite”) takes only one click Click on the little star at the end of the address bar. The star will be white until you click it, then it will turn yellow to indicate that the page is now bookmarked. But don’t click the Done button yet…. You can name the bookmark whatever you like. For example, the title of the example page is coded as “indexa-z”, but I want to call it “Antonius Ra Collection”. Just type in the name you want to use, and then click the Done button: Now you can click on the bookmark, just underneath the address bar, whenever you want to go to that page: If you don’t see the bookmark, you will need to tell Chrome to show it: - Click on the little orange bars next to the star
- On the dropdown menu, place your cursor over “Bookmarks”
- One the side menu, click “Show bookmarks bar”
(In the example below, there is a checkmark in front of “Show bookmarks bar” because I already have mine showing.)

Zuzu: Love the screenshots and drawing overlays! Well done! I write how-tos the way I'd like them to be - VERY detailed and preferably with images. You can't just tell me to click the Whatsamajigger, you either have to tell me exactly where it is, which is usually entirely too wordy, or show me. I've written up instructions for the office on how to e-file a few types of things, and I get very annoyed when I'm asked to come help because someone "using" the instructions doesn't take the time to go step-by-step. >

Hooray for you! Every organization (or stamp board) needs someone like you for write-ups like this! (It takes some time to prepare these, too, so thank you for that, too.) .... Pretty soon I'll be looking forward to your YouTube channel (ZuZuVision? ZuzuTube? ... ZuZuView!) explaining how to cut mounts correctly, how to read a perforation gauge, etc.
(I identify as a "recovering perfectionist", so I appreciate these efforts. ... I had a friend who was a therapist who said a perfectionist's mantra should be, "A job worth doing is worth doing poorly." I try to invoke this from time to time.)

LOL Yeah, I can't get on board with that, but I have been trying to remember that "done is better than perfect".

ZuTube -- of course! (That's why I'm not in advertising.) I'm going with that one! (Especially as I'm trying to wade through a frustrating and not-possible-to-complete-to-perfection project this week.) -- Dave

"A job worth doing is worth doing poorly." -- Dave Dave, I don't get it? Maybe I have to go into recovery to understand? Probably never going to happen. I just try to do as little as possible anymore. Unfortunately I have to many things to do and I don't do half-ass. One of the primary goals of my life has always been to learn to do as many different things (and do them well) as I can. Now I'm not so sure that was the right thing to do.

Mitchell: I grew up hearing the expression "A job worth doing, is worth doing well." (I don't know how widespread that saying is, but I sure remember hearing it at school, at home, in the neighborhood, etc.)
My therapist friend was saying that people who are perfectionists (if they think their perfectionism is a problem) may have learned that lesson too well. Instead, those people may need to cut themselves some slack and do a job adequately (or even poorly).
I think Zuzu's expression might work a little better: "Done is better than perfect." I just needed to stumble on it about 30 years ago!)

One of the primary goals of my life has always been to learn to do as many different things (and do them well) as I can. Now I'm not so sure that was the right thing to do. G.K. Chesterton was a witty curmudgeon who specialized in quips that turned popular truisms on their ears. Among them: “The only thing worse than a boy who hates you: a boy that loves you.” “I believe in getting into hot water; it keeps you clean.” One of my favorites is “The Christian ideal has not been tried and found wanting. It has been found difficult; and left untried.” He’s also credited with saying “If a thing is worth doing, it is worth doing badly.” He turns "it is worth doing well" on its ear. I, like you, try to do things well, but sometimes there are so many things bearing down on me that absolutely must be done, whether they’re done well or not, that I choose to do some of them badly rather than not doing them at all. As a priest, I encounter this dilemma all too often. On the same day I may be leading a discussion group, preparing a sermon, tending to some important diocesan business, and called to the emergency room because a teenager has tried to kill herself. All must be done. Like a battlefield surgeon, I do some well, some badly. But, then, there is grace.

"A job worth doing is worth doing poorly." Actually, now that I think about it, I think I get it.
My desire for perfection can cripple my progress. Sometimes I get stuck thinking that if I can't do it perfectly, I just can't stand to even bother.
But, as stoltzpup's post illustrates, we all have things worth doing, things that we must get done even if it means we can't devote our full efforts to the task.
I'm now reading "poorly" as a relative term.
