Found this yesterday, cover commemorating the opening of the newly incorporated city of Freemont's post office on June...no wait...July 1 1956. Nice clear five bar cancel.
The envelope was sent to Rev. Arthur Freeman by hisself - the return address on the back is the same PO box as on the front. Rev. Freeman was Pastor of St. James Episocpal Church when it achieved parish status in 1948 (according the the churches website.)
