Meters aren't my thing, but, like everything else, I've picked a few up along the way. Acquired this interesting Specimen sample today. It is a Pitney Bowes Type 11, first used in 1936. Since this is postmarked May 3, 1938 (darn! missed the online cover calendar with this one!) the this specimen is to show off the Lux Radio Theatre advertisement included.

Nice Meter Specimen James, not seen one before. I'd suggest a valuable collectible to a meter specialist. Put that in a polypropelene cover asap.

Time to revive this ol' chestnut. Found what looks like another meter specimen, though this one doesn't have the actual word written on it like the one above. Looks like the same type of Pitney Bowes machine.
