Hi all.
I am a novice collector. Starting to focus on stamps with maps but collecting anything I come across. I'd like to start some trades. I have made some bulk purchases on ebay of Canada, US, Australia, NZ and British stamps but I suspect I have a lot of what every one has, hopefully I am wrong.
Anyhow I am going going to poke around looking for the trading thread.
bye for now
Jim

What I collect: If I have a catalogue for it, I collect it. And I have many catalogues ....

Welcome to the forum, Jim. I don't have any specific topical collections but maps on stamps is one of my favourite topics to find while rooting through my piles of stuff. It's a popular topic so there are many sites available on the internet. Here are two of my favourites, one that deals largely with new issues and another that shows older stamps, many of which are often found in mixes. Hi Jim welcome to Stamp Collecting. You may wish to navigate to the forum here.....Home / Worldwide / Topical Stamp Collecting then make a new thread for yourself "Maps on Stamps" then watch the thread grow as collectors post maps on stamps.

Thanks everybody, I will check out the links. I should mention I am looking to trade for more than map stamps, UK, Canada, Western Europe, US, Malaysia, Kenya, Australia, Japan, China and NZ are all targets. But I have lots of older stuff I will trade for anything I don't have, which includes much common stuff, being a beginner.
I am in process of setting up a picassa site with scans of some on offer. The trading forum looked kinda quiet. Will post asap.

Definitely will have to acquire. Thanks Ryan.

The great thing with topicals like maps (or most others) is that some issuing body will be adding new issues so its a never ending challenge.
