A first day cover of Scott #856 that notates the 25th anniversary of the opening of the Panama Canal. I really don't collect F.D.C.'s but I do find the postmark from the U.S.S. Charleston pretty interesting as well as the family connection to the recipient Henry Button. He would be my Step-Great-Grandfather I think? lol
