Hello Forum! After a long day stamping I love to pull up a chair and read the latest stamp chat online, sometimes adding my two cents, so I was delighted to discover this forum. To briefly introduce myself, I'm a retired industrial electrician enjoying the sunshine of Florida after a lifetime in Michigan. After our move, I took a brief hiatus from collecting - everything was packed away awaiting a stamp den. I'm now back putzing on my stamps and loving it! When I was 7, my dad gave me a shoebox full of stamps and I was hooked. I collected worldwide for many years until the mid 90s when I began to narrow the scope of my collection. I'm now down to mainly specializing in Ireland and also puttering with a few other collections. I'm an APS member and a life member of the Eire Philatelic Assn, and I also found an active local club which is quite lively. My other hobbies include spoiling my two mini schnauzers, riding my bike 5-10 miles a day if possible, cooking (which is why I need to ride the bike!), embroidery, reading, gardening, and geeky stuff like science museums. My hubby is a computer buff and an all around super nice guy. Looking forward to making some new friends! Happy stampin'!

I should probably list my other collections - hopefully to find like minded folks; first Ireland - right now I'm flyspecking and looking for perfins and revenues. Then Japan, Bermuda, Channel Is., Canada & Provinces, Scandinavia, Austria, Channel Islands & IOM, oh my and a few more. Too many LOL.

Welcome, Philatelia! I think you'll find it a friendly, attitude-free place!
Feel free to post some images of items from your collections, and it's likely someone else will chime in. Or feel free to ask any questions. Sometimes it may take a little while for someone who knows to answer, but that's ok, too.
Welcome!
