From 1935 to the 1960s, either a Feeding Inspection tax stamp or tax paid imprint on privately printed tag was required. This set of 9 stamps were issued in 1935; they are identified as FE 1-9 in the State Revenue Society's draft catalog.

I could tell you about your revenues but I can't see the picture...there's just a small tiny square box in the upper left corner of the post. Seeing pictures on other threads/top of this thread just fine?

Seeing pictures on other threads/top of this thread just fine? Hi Michael, I see them OK. Perhaps re load TSF (The Stamp Forum) or do a re-boot? This does happen to me on odd occaisions, usually means my internet signal is weak, I am on wireless. Good Luck.

I've been wanting to get the Scott Specialised for US Stamps. Does this have Revenue Stamps listed? The Unitrade does not list them for Canada. I kinda thought I may need a special catalog for just US Revenues.
Where's a good place to buy the Scott Specialised for US Stamps?

This one was sent to me by our member "Kirk S", just out of the blue some years ago, He paid postage, amazing generosity, I use it often What a fabulous present that was. BTW : received your Canadian stamps. Thanks Jim.

We do have a big meeting coming up in a few weeks in September - BNAPEX. I might be able to get one there and at least save on the shipping ! I should ask around and maybe someone will let me have their old copy. I could trade for an old Unitrade. Our local library sells their old catalogs. I'm hoping to get some of the Scott's this way.
I always have lots of Canada for sale. I'll put some more up on eBay as time permits. I'll be busy at work this next few weeks so the sales are unpredictable. Hope you like the ones you got though!

I don't have the State Revenue catalog shown by rod222 above but I believe these to be from the 1930 issue.

Nevada Liquor Tax StampI know almost nothing about these kinds of stamps, but I have found a few of these items in an old collection which I was given, so thought I would post an image or two here to see if anyone else on TSF can tell me more about these. I did an internet search on this Nevada liquor tax stamp, and found a similar image of one of these which was cancelled in 1939, so perhaps that can give us a general idea of when these stamps were issued and in service. As a point of interest, I found a similar stamp currently for sale on eBay, and the listing contains a bit more information about this item. I also noted that the eBay item is in very poor condition, as it has multiple tears, and is missing a fairly large piece. My copy is a bit wrinkled and creased, but at least it is sound and fully intact. www.ebay.com/itm/Nevada-Liquor-Tax-Revenue-Stamp-Six-Cents-Green-Sep-1939-Reno-Levi-Zentaer-Co-/121320287146

BG, I'm glad you've reposted these here. I think they would have gotten lost in the Canadian revenue thread. Meanwhile, some more New York Stock Transfers
