Another example of the missing frame line on the left stamp but here a dark ink is trying to replace it. The Centennial newsletters says it`s black from the 6c stamp. However I can see a hint of blue and I think it`s slate from the 8c stamp.

My last post showed a kiss print with the dots to the right of CANAD. These booklets were printed tete-beche, some facing up and some facing down. Here we have a example from a booklet that was facing down. The dots are on the left.

Here we have another mark on the horizon. A bit lower than the airplane variety.

What I collect: I collect world wide up to 1965 with several specialty albums added due to volume of material I have acquired. At this point I am focused on Canada and British America. I am always on the lookout for stamps and covers with postmarks from communities in Queens County, Nova Scotia. I do list various goods including stamps occasionally on eBay as hdm50

The posts by polarbear in regards the .50 cent value sent me checking the few examples I have. All of mine are consistent with the colour they were issued in. I do have a FDC that came from a collection with roots in my home town. I see that brightonpete posted a similar one back in 2018. Mine has a nice Centennial First Day of Issue cancel.

Happy 156th Birthday to Canada. This Centennial Stamp Box was posted before by our sadly departed member Pete from Brighton. Most Canadian collectors have one of these laying around. I kept this one in the original box for sentimental reasons. i always thought the water reservoir and stamp wetting roller was a disaster waiting to happen.
