My other auction win from last nights Maresch auction. Five pieces of postal stationery all up-rated for delivery to England Three postal cards. An 1891 UX9 supplemented by a 1¢ small queen with jumbo margins. Postmarked in Montreal Dec 30 1892. Notice it is going to a philatelic publisher in Birmingham. The sender is John Edwards of The City Stamp, a dealer in Montreal. The other two are UX14. The card sent from Toronto in July 1895 sports two small 1/2¢ queens with a large, but sadly indecipherable two ring cancel. The other sent to South Tottenham London from Fonthill Ont (in the Niagara region) via Hamilton has a 1¢ small queen. The Hamilton cancel is Christmas day 1896. The other two pieces are interesting, I think. Top is a UL3 letter card from 1893 supplemented with a 2¢ small queen. Two large two ring Toronto cancels tie them to the card, whose perforations are still intact. The glue around the card has given way, and the letter is written inside. Back cancelled Newcastle-on-Tyne Sorting Tender May 17,1897. The other is a post band PB1 with a 1¢ small queen. The squared circle cancel appears to be from Marmora Ont

These are nice cards as issuesed, but with the addition of other stamps they really do become a lovely philatelic sight to see
